Total Money Makeover Audiobook

Hi all!

I want to gift somebody Total Money Makeover but they will not sit down and read. I love physical books so my question is simply about the realm of audiobooks. Where can I purchase one for someone to listen on their own phone and what is the easiest way? Not interested in audible.

Sign up for a library card. Download hoopla and Libby with your Library card number = free audio books. Let them log in with your account perhaps ?

Library. Most have Overdrive or some App where you and all of your friends can listen to the free audiobook download of TMM. This way you won't waste your money if they don't take the time to listen. For what it's worth, as much as we all have someone in our lives who desperately needs to start following DR, there's nothing we can do to make them. Encourage them to get it for free through the library and show them how easy it is the next time you're sitting down with them.

(I'm going to suggest what I would do in your shoes, which involves audible because I have yet to find another audiobook solution that isn't terrible.) So with audible you get like one free audiobook when you sign up if I'm not mistaken so (if this individual doesn't currently have an Amazon account) you could create a new Amazon account (using a burner email address so the person could change the email address to their own once you gift the account to them) and sign up for audible for one month and get the free book. If you want to spend money on it you can buy another audiobook for them from the audible store. They can cancel the account after the trial and keep both audiobooks. They just have to be listened to within the audible app, but you don't have to have an active subscription to listen to the books you own.

Stealing someone a gift doesn't really signal to the recipient that you've nailed a healthy relationship with money.

It's $20. Either buy the gift or don't, but I wouldn't scam a freebie for myself let alone a gift.

if you dont want audible good luck, because they are basically a monopoly in the audio book space
