Zelle is a way to send and receive money quickly, safely and securely. Get money to and from friends and family who have a bank account in the U.S. by using Zelle in the USAA Mobile App on your Android or Apple mobile device See note1 See note, See note4. To use Zelle, log on to our mobile app, and select "More" at the bottom of the screen. Then, select "Send Money With Zelle®."
You can now pay a growing number of people you know and trust using their U.S. mobile phone number or email address.
How does Zelle See note® work? How does Zelle See note® work?
It's easy — just enroll withZelle through the USAA Mobile App and link your account to your U.S. mobile number or email address. When you're ready to send money, you can choose a recipient from your mobile phone contacts or manually enter the recipient's U.S. mobile number or valid email address. The person you're sending money to must have a bank account in the U.S. to receive money with Zelle. In most cases, the money you send or receive is available in minutes. See note2

- Log on to the USAA Mobile App and select "More" at the bottom of the screen.
- Select "Send Money With Zelle See note®."
- Choose "Send."
- Select "Add Recipient" for iOS or the "+" for Android.
- Tap "Select from Contacts" for iOS or the contacts book for Android to import a recipient's information into your Zelle contacts. You can also enter a recipient's information manually.
- Choose the recipient type — "Personal" or "Business."

NOTE: To prevent delays, make sure you use the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number that's enrolled with Zelle. Remember, sending money to people you don't know can be a fraud risk. Neither USAA nor Zelle offers a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle - for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected.

You can only cancel a payment if the recipient hasn't yet enrolled withZelle. To check whether the payment is still pending because the recipient hasn't yet enrolled, you can go to the activity page, choose the payment you want to cancel, and then select "Cancel This Payment." If the person you sent money to is already enrolled in Zelle, the money is sent directly to their bank account and cannot be canceled.

You can request money from another person using Zelle See note® in the USAA Mobile App on your mobile device See note3.
- Go to "Send Money With Zelle See note®."
- Select "Request."
- From your list of contacts, select the person who'll receive your request.
- You can also add a recipient by selecting "Add Recipient" for iOS or the "+" for Android.
- Enter the requested amount, review and select "Send."
